Ms. Vanda Johnson RDH, RDA
Vanda is one of the founding members of the Your Special Smiles Team. Before she joined us she had extensive experience as both a dental assistant and a dental hygienist. She returned to dentistry out of retirement to help us get set up. She was instrumental in our development and we are very thankful to have had her expertise guide us. Though she is now officially retired from dentistry, she will always be part of our team.
Ms. Maria Santana CNA
Maria joined our team as we brought assisted oral hygiene to DeSano Place. She helped us expand our program. She learned much of what we do virtually during the pandemic. We were so impressed with her ability to adapt and learn in such a difficult time. We are grateful for Maria and what she brought to our team as a partner. She has taken her career in a new direction and we wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors.
Ms. Mariana Plascencia RDA
Before moving on to work in a different practice, Mariana helped us develop programs in both our practice and at the Family Health Services Advanced Delivery Dental Clinic. We are thankful for all that Mariana gave our practice and we wish her well in all her future endeavors. We are happy she is bringing her love for these patients into a new and exciting practice.
Dr. Vickie Barrera
Dr. Vicky was a dentist in Mexico before she moved to the United States to be with her family. During her short time in Jerome, ID she joined us as a dental assistant. Dr. Vicky has a unique set of skills and is passionate about dentistry. Our patients enjoyed her kindness. Dr. Vicky has relocated out of state, we following her life on social media and we wish her luck getting her credentials to practice in the United States.
Ms. Holly Jones RDH, EA
Holly Jones is a Registered Dental Hygienist with Extended Access. With our practice she explored teledentistry, portable dentistry, and treating medically complex and behaviorally complex patients. She helped us develop many things and is an excellent team member. While working with us, Holly was nominated for a Denobi Award. Click HERE to see her nomination video. While Holly is not practicing with us currently, she is still with us in spirit. She continues to provide excellent care to all patients with Family Health Services in Twin Falls.
Ms. Vee Ruiz
Vee Ruiz was a wonderful member of our team. She helped us with logistics as we were developing. She is originally from Mexico City. She moved to Idaho over 20 years ago. She is married to her best friend and love of her life. They have two beautiful daughters. Her oldest Aisha and her baby Shareeh . Vee brought the joy and happiness. Vee also works full time with Family Health Services in their call center and we are very proud to have been able to work with her.
Ms. Elizabeth Reyes, CNA
Ms. Reyes was one of our CNA partners a with Desano Place. She was partners with Bailey until she went on maternity leave. Now with her growing family she is focusing her professional efforts to provide the best care possible at Desano Place. Though not officially on our team, she is still in our hearts and still works with us collaborating with Desano Place.
